This was the first day of my PPL training. Although I kinda knew what to expect, I was still nervous. I have taken 2 discovery flights before - one a couple years ago and I did not control the plane. The other one took place 3 days after last Christmas. I did get to feel what it was like. I had a hard time with the rudder. We passed traffic - that was a new and off feeling hearing the sensor yell out “Traffic, Traffic!”; This first day of training was a new experience also. After a through Pre-Flight by my instructor and I, we taxied out to the run-up area only to have to return because the left magneto would not clear. Besides this the flight went pretty well, I was nervous but everything was new so my instructor was helping me - ALOT.
